tales from iceland

I've returned from Iceland and am gently settling in. The pristine beauty of Iceland is like none other. As we were flying into Iceland my subtle body felt how we were truly entering the Otherworld.

To walk on land where the Spirits are still honored is simply magical. Pilgriming in Iceland during my solar return, the Summer Solstice and the Cancer New Moon felt like an amazing gift from the multiverse.  The sun shone continuously and daylight set the rhythm so that one feels like they are in a dream within a dream.

As my friends and I journeyed the land together we commented on how Iceland is the definition of epic. One just couldn't use that word enough. As we climbed the glacier we felt that Snaefellsjokull was the root of words awesome and majestic.  To sit and drink in the landscape with all of one's senses was pure bliss.  To drink the freshest and most clean water I've ever had in my life was pure delight.

I am still integrating and sorting out how to share the wisdom I garnered from this immense journey.  In the meantime, I'd love to share a few pictures with you.

on earth's part
all days start beautifully
patiently it revolves and revolves
with its trees
and oceans and lakes
deserts and volcanoes
the two of us and the rest of you
and all the animals
