πŸŒ˜πŸŒ‘πŸŒ’ Lunar Imbolc Renewal πŸŒ˜πŸŒ‘πŸŒ’

In honor of Imbolc and preparation for the great eclipse activation we will receive on Thursday, I've been encouraging many to give things away, to clear out, to let go, to write down that which no longer serves and to burn or bury it.  I too have been clearing out fiercely.

Since the Capricorn New Moon I have been writing down what no longer serves me and have buried and burned these concepts.  A little over a week ago I cleaned out all of my desk drawers, our art space and many piles of paper.  Last night I found myself organizing my fridge and cabinets in my kitchen.  And this weekend I have plans to begin with my basement.

In that purging and cleansing I found myself sorting through computer files, deleting and organizing.  This photo is from an art installation from 2004, β€œOffering to the Fens” I created in my days at the Museum School of Fine Arts.  Living in Boston was one of the most challenging parts of my life, and this was an homage to rooting to my truth and authenticity, devoted and grounded to the Great Mother even in the bustling city of Boston.

Imbolc is much like this.  There is a great stirring in the belly of the Mother.  This great stirring awakens the promise of all hope, potential and creativity.  Collectively we are at a Gate of Emergence, preparing for renewal.

And so we continue our loving work of serving humanity and our Earth.  This Aquarius New Moon is aligning the collective destiny and dharma with the great Earth Mother asteroid goddess Ceres.  Ceres is all about caretaking, the abundance of the cultivated soil, the seasons, the harvest and nurturing.  She rules all major life cycles and is the Goddess of Womb and Tomb.

In our journey we must take greater care of self, of one another and our Mother Earth.  Perhaps you have been feeling deep emotions like grief, rage, anger and depression?  We are cleansing out so much.  Collectively it is obvious we still have great strides to accomplish in the realm of humanity.

Many are still far from free.  Many live daily within old paradigms of oppression.  Ceres is asking us to face injustice.  What are we doing about it?  Where do we turn the other cheek?  Where is our responsibility in this?  As we let go of the old paradigms, it is time to be radical and invite in genius solutions.

Thursday’s Aquarius New Moon unites the South Node, Mercury, Juno, Moon and Sun all in Aquarius.  Genius solutions are possible!  Inspiration and insights of personal and collective renewal are available.  And this is Lunar Imbolc which invites the Celtic Triple Fire Goddess Brigid and her magic to come forth.

I invite you to close your eyes and imagine you stand before Brigid.  She has a well of the most pure water and scoops a seashell full of shockingly cold water over the crown of your head.  You are purified and cleaned immediately the life-giving bounty of blessings and love pour over you.

She then rings you in a circle of fire and lights a fire in your crown chakra.  You feel a tingling and stimulating of that point.  You feel your energy opening and expanding.  Your power to visualize clears and grows stronger.  You feel true inspiration and clarity.

May you take this vision into your New Moon, into your rebirth.  For now, continue with the ritual of Imbolc letting go, cleaning and clearing.  This is a phenomenal time to sweep, dust and air out on all levels--physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
