You are the living holy Temple

I am writing to you from a deep immersion with one of my beloved mentors, Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes.  This is my second year studying with her, and I am immensely grateful for this experience, as it is authentic and expansive.

Astrologically we have all been going through so much transformation in 2019, that the actual word transformation is becoming quite cliche.  Now that we are at the midpoint of the year, there is an opportunity to reflect on what we have learned and where we are going.  I believe it is essential to reflect as we have a potent full Sagittarius Strawberry Full Moon coming, soon followed by Summer Solstice and July's Eclipse season.

In the light of the zenith of the Sun and all things blossoming in your life,  I'd like to invite you to recommit to, or to begin your conscious journey of self care.  I work with a group of womxn, called the Adi Shakti Coven and each May we immerse ourselves in the topic of self care.  It is the peak of Spring as we  begin to look towards Summer, when so much is buzzing Nature, that we too are buzzing in our lives.

You are the living, holy temple.  The reality is that you are not able to fully serve any other being on this Earth unless you embody a path of self care.   Today, Dr. Estes said, 'To be in your power as a healer, you have to remain disciplined.'  Self care is discipline, and after hearing her wisdom, I am reinvigorated to speak to this topic, as it is true that many of us have not been taught how to care for self.  There are so many layers to self care, however today I wish to simply offer you what is the backbone of my self care practice.

Begin each day with a spiritual practice, which could include prayer, meditation, breathwork, yoga, journaling.  A practice that you can commit to, as an act of self discipline.  Cleanse yourself as a part of this practice, and in doing so, work with the water element to fully renew you.  Allow the water to clarify you physically, emotionally, psychically and spiritually.  Give thanks to your ancestors each day.  Commit to drinking at least 2 liters of clean, filtered water, while nourishing your body with foods that you know you digest well.  Make sure that you spend time outdoors daily, breathing long, deep breaths, and finding the beauty that surrounds you in Nature.  Even in any urban environment we may find the force of Nature.  Before you go to bed each night, rewind the tape of the day, forgive those who hurt you, and learn from your mistakes.  Give thanks for the gifts that bestow your life.

For those seeking a deep dive into self care, I invite you to watch this video I created today about how pilgrimage will transform your life.

Infinite blessings,

Ra Ma
