What is stopping you from being in your medicine now?

I imagine at times you are feeling overwhelmed with the great chaos and transformation we are living within. Perhaps at times you find it difficult to keep going about your daily life? We all need a little grace in these times. May you offer yourself the gift of compassion when the circumstances feel overwhelming.

I've had to lighten my own reigns, so to speak, to focus on the present moments that are worth cherishing such as the sting of onions that hit my eye as I am preparing a meal, the song of birds bringing a new day, the crocuses emerging from the quiet winter's earth, and my daughter's laughter amplifying joy.

I've been experiencing a new layer of healing since the passing of Elder Malidoma this past December. As many of you know I was in the midst of a pilgrimage in Egypt when his transition to the Otherworld transpired. I found myself in that exact time within my own intense initiation, one that came upon me with great shock. As new layers of wisdom emerge they bring revelations from the Otherworld which offer glimmers of promise for this New Earth.

I offer you a thread of golden light that you may weave in your own tapestry of life. May this golden thread inspire you to keep up in these times of paradigm shifting.

As I write these words, Venus and Mars are about to move from Capricorn to the first degree of Aquarius. As an astrology geek, I find this phenomenal, as it was just two Yules ago on December 21, 2020 that Jupiter and Saturn met up at the first degree of Aquarius, marking a Cultural Renaissance for our times.

Now as personal planets do, Venus and Mars wish to bring a momentum and inspired action to that which Jupiter and Saturn imprinted on that Winter Solstice. Take note of where 1° Aquarius lives within your chart, as magick is brewing here.
